I am shutting down a very nicely equipped wood working / metal working shop in Dayton, Ohio and would love to sell the machinery to someone interested in starting a business.
The price of the shop is based upon comparable prices for the same or similar machinery and equipment in similar condition.
I will also entertain trading this shop for a cruising boat. Sail is preferred, however, I will consider an efficient trawler or a coastal capable houseboat. A good ICW / Eire canal cruiser.
All of the equipment is in very good - excellent physical condition, perfect operating condition and has been continually serviced and up-graded as needed.
This is a plug and play, professional shop; A business waiting to happen, for the right person.
I am moving out of the area and need to sell the equipment as a complete package in order to expedite that move. I will be using the shop until it sells, therefore, it is not feasible for me to start selling items piecemeal.
The primary equipment list is as follows;
A 1984 JET 9X42, 3 phase, step pulley, vertical milling machine. included are a 6" machinist vise, 12" precision, rotary table, a 24" X 36" X 4" Metroplate, granite inspection plate, 12" Brown and Sharp height gage, 0-6" NSK micrometer set, a Teco styled step clamp set, a good selection of R-8 collets, a Jacobs 1/2 inch ball bearing drill chuck, a tapping head and a good selection of end mills.
A 1942 era Pratt and Whitney, 3 phase, 1330 tool room engine lathe with rocker styled and indexable tool holders, taper attachment, 3 and 4 jaw chucks, a Pratt and Whitney collet closer and collets, drill chuck, live center, knurling tool, lots of high speed steel tooling and a home made tool post grinder.
Kysor Johnson, 3 phase, KJHD 10X14 industrial, horizontal band saw.
Moak #4, 3 phase, 24" vertical band saw. 12" clearance under the Carter guides.
Powermatic PM1500 220 v. 1 phase, 15" planer/moulder with spare knives, on a mobile base. ( New material feed roller drive system ).
Powermatic #26, 220 v., 1 phase, shaper with a Grizzly power feeder, on a mobile base. New Freud raised panel and rail and stile set.
Powermatic #24, 3 phase shaper, on a mobile base. ( thousands of dollars in custom moulding tooling).
Powermatic #54A, 6" long bed jointer, on a mobile base.
Powermatic # 90, 12", variable speed, wood turning lathe with face plates, drive spud, live center, a dozen Craftsman turning tools and a 36" Vega spindle duplicator.
JET JTAS-10-1, 220 v., 1 phase, 10" cabinet saw with at least a dozen extra blades, Kreg miter jig, Exacta fence, Dado set, taper jig, Table extension and mobile out feed/assembly table.
Wysong 220 v., 1 phase, 16" disc sander on a mobile base. ( freshly rebuilt motor ).
Ritter #R933, 3 phase, 48" ( X 2 ) edge sander with a contour sander mounted on one end. ( freshly rebuilt motor ).
Clayton # 000125P tilting, oscillating spindle sander.
Lincoln R35-325 3 phase power supply, currently set up with an arc stinger and a Lincoln, LN7, MIG wire feeder.
C-air 80 gallon compressor. 220v., 1 phase.
Generic refrigerant type, 140 CFM, air line dryer.
Grizzly #GO448 free standing hollow chisel mortiser with a basic chisel assortment.
10 cubic foot media blast cabinet on a mobile base.
